Homework help is available every morning in the computer lab before school begins.  A teacher or staff member is on duty to assist students who may need help.
 

ARCHERY CLUB

Students in 4th and 5th grade are able to participate in Archery once the class has been taught in P.E.  For more information about the Archery club, contact Mrs. Whitson
 

ACADEMIC TEAM

Students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade participate in local competition in areas of future problem-solving, open response, quick recall and academic areas. Students are chosen from scores on placement tests .

4-H is offered to all 4th & 5th graders at Cairo. There is no fee for this program. Topics include crafts, cooking, woodworking and sewing. Student have the opportunity to participate in activities at the 4-H Center.

Drug Abuse Resistance Education is a program sponsored by Henderson City Police Department and presented to the fifth graders each year.

This program is offered to all fifth graders once a month and is sponsored by Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources.
